For those fans missing my partner Frank DeCaro's hilarious movie "reviews" during the first 6 1/2 years of The Daily Show (with and without Jon Stewart), here's Happy Chop. Before shooting the infomercial for this competitor to the infamous Vince Shlomi and his Slap Chop, Frank punched up the script to add his trademark double entendres. So... can you say "hard cheese" on television?

Jeff Says Tomato, Annabelle says Shut Up -- or is it the other way around?
Recently, I had the pleasure of interviewing actress Annabelle Gurwitch about her guest star spot back in 1988 as one of Murphy Brown's first secretaries. I had come to know Annabelle later on HBO's Not Necessarily the News, and then as one of the really fun hosts of TBS' Dinner and a Movie. Now, she's the host of Wa$ted on the Planet Green channel.
A few years back, Annabelle wrote a really funny book, Fired, and now has a second, a book about relationships, You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up, written with her husband Jeff Kahn. In the following clip, the two have some fun stuff to say about relationships -- I hope they actually take this show on the road, because I'd love to see them argue it out in person.

Catch Frank DeCaro in Stand-Up 360: Inside Out
In the past few days, a new infomercial has been running, so I've been told, on Planet Green network, on Logo, and perhaps elsewhere as well. Once you get a look at that cute salesman in the green suit, a certain Mr. Frank DeCaro, you're going to want a "Happy Chop" of your own.
I'll post the link to that infomercial as soon as I can find it online. In the meanwhile, though, to get your Frank fix, check out this new film in which he appears, Stand-Up 360: Inside Out, this August at a theater near you! (Click here for more info, theaters and showtimes.)

Entertainment Tonight covers CBS Watch
On tonight's show, ET covered two stories in the current issue of CBS Watch magazine -- both by yours truly. Click through to ET's coverage of Neil Patrick Harris' trip aboard the famed Orient Express train, and the photo shoot accompanying my candid interview with Mary Hart.

See Lauren Weedman's Bust in NYC
You probably remember her from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and may even have seen her recently in a guest role on United States of Tara. Lauren Weedman is one of the funniest people I've ever had the pleasure of seeing in person -- and now, she brings her new show Bust to NYC.
Here's the show's description:
Bust goes behind bars and into the echoing chambers of the punishing psyche of former Daily Show correspondent Lauren Weedman. Juggling (sometimes) paying acting jobs and her volunteer gig in the L.A. County Jail, Lauren’s gotten an in-depth look at the L.A. penal system so that you don’t need to! Our heroine brings her humor, energy and biting self-indictment to this intelligent and funny portrayal of incarcerated women and the mixed motives that brought Lauren to their door. Directed by Allison Narver.

Watch for Watch!
If you're among the thousands who have signed up for a free subscription for CBS' Watch magazine, keep an eye on your mailboxes. The July/August issue is off the presses and on its way to you.
On the cover, Neil Patrick Harris poses in front of the famed Orient Express train, which I then had the privilege of taking with him from Venice to Paris this past April. Inside, the actor talks about being Barney, about travel and life with his partner, David Burtka. Check it out!
And for a free subscription to future issues -- September's cover shoot and story, with the cast of The Big Bang Theory, will be hot, too! -- sign up here, at www.cbswatchmagazine.com. That web site, by the way, is relaunching any minute now, and itself will have great original content you won't find anywhere else!
